Faculty Profile: Sachiko Hirayama

Ms. Sachiko Hirayama, our new Japanese Teacher is from Aichi Prefecture. She comes to us with a multitude of experiences. As the wife of a Foreign Ministry official, she has lived in the United States, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Tazmania and Vietnam. Ms. Hirayama has taught Jr. High School Japanese, IB Japanese for 11th and 12th graders and hoshuko (Japanese Supplementary Courses) to Grade 1 ~ 6 students. She plays tennis every Sunday with her friends and loves to cook all kinds of Asian foods. Ms. Hirayama especially loves to teach because her own children are all grown up now and she... »read more
